From G-SHOCK, the toughness watches that continue to evolve in search of ultimate strength, this model uses a carbon core guard structure. The case is made of fine resin containing carbon fiber that, although lightweight, exceeds the rigidity of normal resin. Prevents damage and deformation from impacts to protect the internal module. Additionally, the two-layer structure of the back cover also guards against impacts to the back of the watch. The shock-proof button structure also allows the exterior to be designed without a button guard. The design features a three-dimensional dial and a bold arrangement of large front buttons. Finished with a tough design that creates a powerful look. A model that combines the shock-proof G-SHOCK structure with an urban outdoor style.
G-SHOCK have always embraced the spirit of challenge in their untiring pursuit of the ultimate toughness. In 1983, when the resolve to build a watch that would never break produced the very first G-SHOCK — the DW-5000. Not much later, in 1989, the AW-500 arrived, offering the same shock resistance but as an analog watch. Fast forward to today, and the GA-2100 line hits the scene — the timeless spirit of toughness of those two epoch-making models, fused cutting-edge technologies to create timepieces like nothing you’ve ever seen before. An octagonal bezel derived from the iconic design of the DW-5000. Minimal design inherited from the AW-500. A commitment to delivering the slimmest, most compact form, but with all the strength of its predecessors intact — a feat achieved with the Carbon Core Guard structure as well as a new and improved module design. Inheritance of the origin to its roots while advancing further still, the GA-2100 beautifully complements today’s lifestyles. The new G-SHOCK standard-bearer is here.
